Free People does fall and winter well. I just purchased the two oversized cozy sweaters and the sweater dress above. By the way, Free People’s website is offering free shipping today. I ordered size XS for all three items based on the online reviews that they run large. I will let you know about the sizing but size XS is my usual Free People size anyway.

Oversized sweaters are trending for this fall and winter. This is good news to me since I plan on wearing them with my leggings and skinny jeans. If they are long enough, I will wear them with opaque tights and my over-the-knee boots.

The tank dress in the first image is a recent purchase and is on sale online at Revolve. I thought this little number was quite versatile. I really love that I can wear sneakers with the dress. Also, the ruching on this dress is a lifesaver. For reference, I’m wearing a size XS/0. I also bought this dress in the grey color, or pebble.

How cute is the burgundy neckerchief in the second image? The polka dots look fresh with the stripes of my classic button-down shirt. I purchased it online at Target when they were running a promo. If you’re interested, Target is currently offering a $10 off your $40 clothing purchase promotion.

I bought the button-down on clearance from J.Crew last May. You can never go wrong with such a classic wardrobe staple. It’s finally cooled down sufficiently to wear it, yay.

Hey there! I’m wearing my recent purchase of J.Crew earrings and the popular cocktail button-down shirt in the first image. The shirt is true to size and I’m wearing a size 0 for reference. The earrings are sold out online but hopefully there’s a pair still available in a store. They are lightweight and I love the mermaid color of the stones.

I’m digging the ivory frames of my 1970’s inspired sunglasses in the second picture. The color really complements my tan.

I’m wearing my new GAP girlfriend denim shorts in the last two images. They were a recent purchase and I can’t stop wearing these slouchy denim shorts. I sized up to a 26 (I’m typically a 25 in other denim brands) because the rise was too short in the 25. The 26 was more slouchy anyway, which is the fit that I was going for. I did try on a 27 to test the fit and it was too large in the legs (so a no). The small amount of distressing on the shorts is perfect, which is my preference. I’m not a fan of too much distressing for my denim.
