j.crew factory haul

I just ordered a bunch of spring & summer stuff from J.Crew Factory online since they have a promotional code (25% off for a $125 or more purchase with your J.Crew card, the code is: CARDPERK).  Everything I picked was on already on sale and I got the additional 25% off.  I am so over winter already, I need sun and warmer temps stat.

5″ Summer Plaid Short in Classic Patchwork (Final sale item, so no returns or exchanges.)

Printed Pocket Skirt in Red Ikat

Classic Chambray Shirtdress in Light Sky Wash

Essential White Button-Down Shirt

Clip Elastic Belt in Black Natural

Gold and Crystal Link Bracelet  (On backorder, expected to ship April 22.)

Gold-Plated Chainlink Bracelet in Antique Gold  (On backorder, expected to ship April 18.)

I hope everything fits, especially the shorts since they are a final sale item.  I have been on the hunt for a white button-down for a long time.  I predict that it will be a wardrobe staple, as much as my beloved chambray shirt.  Speaking of chambray, I ordered more in the form of a shirtdress.  I can see wearing this all-year long and having many layering options.  I got the ikat skirt for a bright pop of color and the patchwork madras shorts for my inner prepster.

I’m excited for the link bracelets.  I’ve wanted the J.Crew pave link bracelet forever but I couldn’t stomach the much higher price.

So, there you have it.  Something to get the summer party started.

Any must-have items on your spring & summer list?  xo

Chanel Fringed Sheath Dress, Fringed Blazer & Cap-Toe Pumps.

If clothing could ever elevate one’s mood and confidence level, this suited look would be it.  I felt like a million bucks, ready for whatever the night ahead wanted to offer.

We stayed at Aria and loved it.  So new and extremely clean and ultra modern.  Floor to ceiling windows all around our corner suite.

The spa at Aria is a must.  You can easily spend hours on end enjoying the spa facilities.  There is a co-ed spa pool that has wonderful views and it also looks over the VIP pool area, Liquid Pool Lounge.  Fortunately, there wasn’t a party going on with boombastic beats.  The treatments are expensive, I got an 80 minute classic European facial.  But it was one of the better facials, my facial skin was smooth like a baby’s.  But, you can spend all day at the spa with a day pass for $30 if you’re a guest of Aria or one of the other City Center hotels.  That is a great deal.

wedges galore

LC Lauren Conrad Dot Chiffon Blouse; 7FAM ‘Gwenevere’ Jeans in Rich Emerald; DKNYC ‘Oril’ Wedge Boots in Black; J.Crew Factory Resin Droplet Necklace in Turquoise (other colors here); YSL ‘Arty’ Ring in Turquoise; MbMJ ‘Amy’ Watch in Rose Gold.

There are so many good wedge shoe options out there now.  So. Hard. To. Resist.  I am so in love with my new DKNYC ‘Oril’ boots.  I walked a ton in them for the past few days and they are so darn comfortable.  The wedge heel adds a little height and interest to the outfit.  I think these boots would look great with a dress too.  I never got those Lanvin hidden wedge heel boots from 2 or 3 years ago, but I am exteremely pleased with the DKNYC boots.  There was a great dupe of the Lanvin boots by Report, the Waldron boot, but I think the shaft may have been too wide for my calves.  I feel like my patience paid off and found the perfect pair of wedge boots.  For $56.  Dude.

Now here’s the galore part of this post.  I picked up 2 more pair of wedge shoes.

Steve Madden ‘Hilight’ Wedge Sneakers.  I tried to resist the wedge sneaker, I really did.  I always found the Isabel Marant wedge sneakers to be a curiosity.  But, the more I see these sneakers (and all the cheaper iterations), the more I wanted to try them on.  Love.  They are comfortable and look amazing with skinny jeans.  I am trying hard not to get the dark grey pair too.

Kensie ‘Zahra’ Demi Wedge Sandal in Black Combo.  You just know these will go with all the things.
