This weekend had the best weather of the summer. We took advantage by checking out to a food & wine festival and enjoying dinner on the beach.

I have 3 of these LOFT cotton dresses: solid black, graphic black & white print and a grey floral. I reach for these all the time, it’s the perfect casual summer dress to throw on in a pinch. I also love the chambray shirt, mostly because it’s long in length (godsend for those with long torsos) and the thicker fabric seems to resist wrinkles. It serves as a great little summer “jacket” over a dress or tank top.

Last night was a GNO with a couple of the coolest chicks you’ll ever meet. We had a blast tearing it up, ha. Do you notice my hot friend’s Zara camo skinnies in the blue? We were obsessed with these when they first came out, we have both the blue and army green colors of these pants.

Yesterday, my wonderful husband treated me to a lovely dinner for my birthday. If last night is any indication of the upcoming year, then it’s going to be glorious. Full of love, laughter and good food & wine. Cheers!

Wearing traffic cone orange is one way of not getting hit by a car while running outside. Let’s hope, at least.

I got the skorts on sale for $39. So, I bought 4 pairs of them. I cannot resist a cute running skirt. I can, however, resist running. I kid.

Last night was date night in the city. Sushi and then frozen yogurt, perfect for a hot summer night.

shore time

Apologies for the radio silence. I’ve been hanging at the beach for a couple of weeks. Getting caught up on my fitness by walking and running (only when it’s raining, lol) the boardwalk (it’s a scenic 6+ mile walk/run). The outfits I ended up wearing at the shore were all about comfort and not really photo worthy. I’ll try to step it up and post some pics soon.
