We are having yet another another snow day. Cabin fever ensued and some online shopping coupled with good discounts made the situation better.

J.Crew is doing free shipping with no minimum purchase and 40% off four or more styles with code NEWNEW. So, I picked up a few goodies for my daughter and me. My two favorite purchases are the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust sweatshirt (J.Crew will donate a portion of the sales to this wonderful animal sanctuary) that I purchased for my baby and the vegan and cruelty-free rosebud salve for my family (you can stock up with up to 9 tubes!). The rosebud salve is a cult favorite and can also be used to highlight cheeks and eyelids. It can also tame eyebrows. What can’t this do?

The skinny jeans are much needed for my postpartum in-between size situation right now. Nordstrom Rack has been my go-to lately for denim. I don’t want to pay full price yet I’m still able to get my favorite brands like Current/Elliott, Levi’s and Madewell. You just have to remember to keep checking online for new stock.

Stay warm and safe if you’re getting hit with snow. Hopefully you’re enjoying true spring weather!

We are getting ready for some crazy bad weather here with a nasty nor’easter on its way. Ugh, but at least it’s March. They say if March comes in like a lion, it will leave like a lamb. I certainly hope so.

My trusty Bean boots (proudly made in Maine; here’s my detailed review) will help keep my feet dry and cozy in style. I still love the unexpected colors of my boots. The sweater with all of its detail (tassels, pom poms and pointelle, oh my; here’s my detailed review) and the bubble gum pink hue of my faux fur scarf make me smile.

The skinny jeans are a relatively recent purchase from Nordstrom Rack, but they’re sold out already. I am between sizes since my pregnancy earlier this year. I’m not yet back to my pre-pregnancy size and weight, so these jeans are my go-to until then. I ordered two sizes, 26 and 27, and I kept the 26. So glad I did because they stretched out a smidge and the fit is spot on yet still comfortable. Plus the high waist is flattering for my stomach area, nice.

Bring it on, March. Stay safe, warm and dry! xx
